She's catching on

Ruby watches her big sister do so many different things and learns quite well. Now if we can only get walking in. One of my favorite things she has just recently picked up is blowing-which usually comes up as blowing raspberries. Addie has this toy princess trumpet and you can blow in it and it makes noises. Well, Ruby will pick up the toy and start blowing raspberries...no, her mouth is never on the right place or even on it at all, but she assumes thats what you do when you have that toy. She also does this with her food a lot of the time because a lot of times I am blowing on it to cool off. She will then blow some more raspberries during meal time. She also blows on the bubbles in the tub like her big sister does. She loves to stand beside the tub and watch Addie take a bath. It is one of her most exciting times of the day. She cracks up the whole time. It is adorable. The other thing that happened the other day is she repeated Addie as she was calling "Mommy". She kept saying "Mama Mama". This little one grows by leaps and bounds! She has even learned to rub her hands together when she sees me put on lotion, or she spots a lotion bottle. Tell me thats not brilliant for a 10 month old?! She repeats the word "Thanks" in her adorable baby sort of way when I say thanks when she hands me a toy or when I hand it back.
My little baby is catching on in life! Full of giggles and words and adorable smiles.
